Product Management Manager

Core responsibility

As Product Management Manager, you are responsible for a successful performance on the market of the existing products portfolio and a successful introduction of new products on the market to comply with market needs and HMS business growth strategy into the group’s core markets. 

As such, you are a member of the Product Marketing Team and are reporting to the Head of Product Marketing.

Role & responsibilities

  • Define Product Portfolio Strategy for coming 2-3 years, focusing on market trends and needs.
  • Establish and maintain the high-level Product Roadmap with priorities for the next 24 months 
  • Communicate the long-term vision, new trends and newly identified market needs and their impact on the roadmap. 
  • Build cohesion, synchronization, collaboration with the other Managers of the Product Marketing Team (Technical services and Marketing) to ensure that product’s message is brought in consistent, coherent, timely manner on the market.
  • Share and transfer good knowledge of customers and technology trends of core markets 
  • Develop, guide, and support the Products Managers in their duties 
  • Build a pragmatic understanding of market and customer problem into the R&D Team
  • Work collaboratively with R&D, Supply and Quality Managers to follow-up on the new product/feature’s development.
  • Build successful internal (cross departmental) and external (sales channels, partners) relationships
  • Participates in risk assessments concerning his/her team asset(s)
  • Setup and document the necessary processes to empower the product managers and to increase efficiency when dealing with stakeholders. 
  • Ensures that team members comply with ISMS security policies
     

Qualifications & Education Requirements

  • You hold a masters’ degree or equivalent by experience and,
  • You have at least 7 years’ experience in the field of the product management with at least 5 years with people management responsibilities.
  • You demonstrate an experience in a similar position in a high technology focused company or as a successful Senior Product Manager in an Industrial Automation technology company.
  • You have been working in a large multinational company, ideally within a matrix environment.
