Job Description:

The Industrialisation Engineer develops and provides processes and tools to ensure the efficient manufacturing and testing of industrial routers by sub-contractors. He/she works to support the production growth and its performance.
He/she participates in Industrialisation projects to improve the quality of existing products, the introduction of new products and the collaboration between all stakeholders. He/she is the technical link of the manufacturing environment with the R&D teams and with external sub-contractors.
The Industrialisation Engineer is a member of the Supply department and reports to the Industrialisation manager.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or coordinate development of PCBA functional test benches and finished products test benches according to specification,
  • Develop and/or coordinate development of various production tools and utilities,
  • Review the designs of R&D teams and the manufacturing processes of subcontractors to contribute to quality, manufacturability, and optimized costs,
  • Define the processes and methods for the manufacturing of new products,
  • Guarantee the full trace-ability of the manufacturing chain in collaboration with Quality and Supply departments; Provide advanced trace-ability reports when needed,
  • Provide a strong technical contribution in the resolution of both internal and external (subcontractors) problems and non-conformities in close collaboration with the quality team,
  • Support actively the operational quality activities by defining incoming material control methods, handling the traceability of goods and tools, contributing to the redaction of non-conformity reports, handling of engineering change notices, etc...
  • Support the production growth: continuous improvement of tools and processes in place,
  • Take responsibilities on various projects within its department,
  • Collaborate with the international counterpart teams of HMS to share experience, solutions, processes, and tools with the goal of uniformizing and improving the global efficiency.
     

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering,
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of electronics development or electronics manufacturing,
  • Professional knowledge of French and English (spoken and written),
  • Electronics engineering / testing or manufacturing  -  Good knowledge,
  • SQL and programming languages (Python, Java, C/C++,...)  -  Good knowledge
  • NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand  -  Basic or Good knowledge
  • Manual electrical and mechanical work  -  Basic knowledge
  • Electronics manufacturing IPC Standards  -  Appreciated

  • Understanding of technical issues in a high-tech environment (electronics, IT, IoT, MECA, etc.),
  • Versatility to take over multifaceted projects or problems,
