The callback function is an important eWON feature
to enhance security and reduce costs of remote maintenance.
The callback function requires an external action which
is for example:
- a pre-defined number of ring on the eWON phone
line
- a login to the eWON and a callback request
When the Callback function is activated, the eWON returns
a call to a pre-defined phone number.
The Direct Callback function calls a classic phone
number and performs a point-to-point connection basically
to a PC configured as 'Incoming Call Allowed'.
The Internet Callback function calls a local ISP (Internet
Service Provider) and publishes its Internet TPC/IP
address by email (to a pre-defined email address) or
using a Dynamic DNS services such as www.no-ip.com
