	eWON is able to perform local data acquisition by using its serial or its Ethernet port. The data acquisition process is designed around a TAGs database in which each tag is associated to an IO SERVER.



		Available IO Servers are: Modbus (RTU,TCP) Schneider (Xway, Unitelway) AB SLC500, PLC5 (DF1, EIP) FINS (TCP, UDP, Hostlink) AB Logix Family (CIP) Siemens S7 (MPI, PPI, ISOTCP) Siemens S5 Qwave (see IO server documentation for more details - eWON Reference Guide) The tag reference will be used for Alarm Management, Datalogging and other Remote Managements features.
