The eWON 2104CD/4104CD provides Machine Builders/OEMs, Utility Managers and System Integrators with broadband secure ADSL connectivity to access remote machines and assets through the Internet. The two modules embed an ADSL 2/2+ modem as well as an optional built-in PSTN or GPRS/ EDGE modem for use as alternate back-up access. The eWON 2104CD/4104CD functions as a full IP router and transparent gateway, allowing remote access to both serial and Ethernet devices connected behind eWON. Seamlessly integrated with the PLC programming environment, an eWON 2104CD/4104CD still monitors and collects data into internal tags while PLC maintenance is performed. The eWON 2104CD/4104CD has both Web and FTP servers embedded as well as an independent alarm management system. eWON 2104CD/4104CD are Talk2M ready. Machine Builders & OEMs, like system integrators, will use Talk2M to take full advantage of broadband Internet to remotely connect to their machines & installations worldwide.
