All eWON SCADA features are fully available through standard Internet browser (IExplorer from Microsoft or Navigator from Netscape), or by using a FTP client.

Configuration, data transfer, management, monitoring, data logging, alarms management are performed in compliance with Internet standard software supporting FTP, SNMP, SMTP and HTTP protocols, without requiring any software engineering resources.
COMMUNICATION
eWON integrates:
- an Ethernet 10/100Mb port
- a PSTN, GSM/GPRS or ISDN modem (except for eWON 500).
- a serial port (that can be configured on some versions).
Inputs (digital, counter, analog) and Outputs (relay) are embedded (depending on eWON version).

Other IO extensions can easily be added on eWON, by means of remote IO blocks, or by using device(s) on a RS485 Modbus or Modbus/TCP network.
Trigger, user acknowledgment, current status and tracabilty are managed by eWON.

Users can define some alarms characteristics, such as thresholds, bandwidth,... for each of every tags.

eWON can be fully programmed by means of BASIC scripts.
The user can program automated functions and get access to all the configuration's parameters.

INTERNET connectivity features (such as SENDMAIL...), are available too.

BASIC language is also used to embed eWON's data on Web Active Server Pages.

The eWON can send electronic mail, PUTFTP, SNMP Trap or SMS on alarm detection or on a regular time schedule.

Notification can be programmed by using BASIC scripts.
